Although Yuri Penaloza originally pursued a career in cosmetology, she eventually found her way to the veterinary field. Starting as a Client Service Representative, she transitioned to various roles, including Financial Coordinator and Specialty Surgery Veterinary Assistant, where she discovered her true calling: providing personalized care to both clients and her team. Now serving as the GP CSR Supervisor, Yuri has spent six years at Veterinary Healthcare Associates (VHA), where the commitment and love shared among the team continue to inspire her.
At home, Yuri enjoys spending time with her Shih Tzu, Appa, and her Domestic Shorthair cat, Maverick. Outside of work, she loves traveling, trying new foods, cooking, staying active, and spending time with family and friends. Spending time in God’s word and being surrounded by people who support her growth is what keeps Yuri motivated in this industry. She also loves VHAFit for the opportunities and resources it provides to support her physical, mental, and emotional health.
