Stephanie always had a passion for animals, and wanted to be a marine biologist while she was growing up. After being discharged from the Navy, she started working in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant and worked her way up to Registered Veterinary Technician. She enjoys the family atmosphere at VHA and is excited to kick off the relatively new scribe role here at the practice!
Stephanie has 2 dogs, a Golden/Lab mix named Captain and a Border Collie mix named Mo. Captain was raised by Stephanie as part of a service dog program, Canine Companions for Independence. Mo is a shelter rescue.
When she isn’t working, Stephanie can be found running and reading (she mostly enjoys murder mysteries and non-fiction military history).
