Jaqueline Hardy Clinical Director, General Practice

Jaqueline Hardy’s journey in veterinary medicine began in her early childhood, driven by a deep love for animals and an unwavering desire to care for them in any way possible. Despite the challenges of becoming a young parent, Jaqueline never lost sight of her passion for animal care. Over the years, she has grown from a veterinary technician to a leadership role, finding immense fulfillment in guiding her team at Veterinary Healthcare Associates (VHA).

With many years of experience in the veterinary field, Jaqueline considers VHA her home. “VHA’s support, encouragement, and opportunities for growth and development have transformed my career,” she reflects. Her inspiration comes from the dedication of her team and their shared commitment to advancing the field of veterinary medicine. Choosing a career at VHA was an easy decision for Jaqueline, as the organization’s dedication to excellence and compassion aligns perfectly with her values.

At home, Jaqueline finds comfort and joy in the company of her two rescued puppies, Nala (a mixed breed) and Gus Gus (a Frenchie). “They have helped me through many trials and tribulations in my life. They are the loves of my life,” she says, highlighting the profound bond she shares with her pets.

Outside of work, Jaqueline is passionate about mentoring young children and pre-teens as a Pathfinder leader every other Saturday. She enjoys fostering growth through life lessons, crafting, camping adventures, and exploring how faith intertwines with every aspect of life. This role not only reflects her commitment to guiding others but also mirrors her approach to leadership at VHA.

To balance the emotional demands of veterinary medicine, Jaqueline stays involved with her family, ensures she takes care of herself emotionally, and appreciates the work-life balance promoted by VHA. She values the resources available, such as the on-campus gym, Dog Dayz Cafe with healthier food options, and a meditation pod.
