Kyle spent the majority of the last 15 years working as an RN in trauma and critical care, working his way up through different leadership positions along the way. After meeting his wife, a sports medicine and rehabilitation specialist, and rescuing dogs with various medical needs together, he realized he had the ability to combine his love of medicine, leadership, and helping animals within the veterinary field.
The most rewarding aspect of Kyle’s position at VHA is supporting his fellow leaders and helping to implement processes that elevate the standard of care, lead to better outcomes for our patients, and result in happier clients. But one of his favorite things about VHA is the support and sense of community so prevalent throughout the organization. Everyone is here to provide the best possible care to their patients, day in and day out.
The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant.
