Brian’s father trained military dogs when Brian was young and as a result, he developed a deep appreciation for the pets in our lives. His journey to serve clinical teams in veterinary medicine took a long and winding path through his own military career, after which he immediately began working in a veterinary practice. His role affords him the opportunity to support the entire VHA organization and find new opportunities to improve the delivery of veterinary care throughout Central Florida. The most rewarding aspect of Brian’s career is being able to provide the infrastructure needed by the clinical teams to help them care for their patients.
Brian has 2 dogs; Captain, a Golden/Lab mix, didn’t quite make it through professional training and was released to become a member of Brian’s family. Mo, a Border Collie mix, was rescued in 2013.
In his non-working time, Brian prefers to spend time with his wife and 2 grandchildren. He is also an avid car racing enthusiast and enjoys participating in and spectating organized racing events.
